  1. Stage 01

    Ground Truth

    What is actually happening?

We examine the situation, assumptions, uncertainty, competing explanations, and the decision underneath the noise.

    $500 one hour notes afterward

  2. Stage 02

    The Next Move

What should we do about it?

A second working session to evaluate the real options, pressure-test the tradeoffs, make the call, and define what happens next.

    +$1,000 one hour decision memo

Each stage stands on its own. Continue only if there is more work worth doing.

About the Ground Truth session

Sometimes you know something isn't working. A product, a launch, a message, a team. Other times you can see an opening: a market shifting, an idea that won't leave you alone, a new tool that could change how you work. Either way, you're too close to see it clearly, and you don't have three weeks for discovery.

You bring the situation as it is. I ask questions, look for the assumptions everyone has started treating as facts, and connect things that may not seem related yet. No deck and no follow-up sales call. The hour stands on its own.

What we'll examine

  • What is actually happening?
  • What assumptions are being treated as facts?
  • What remains uncertain?
  • What decision actually matters?
  • What evidence would help?

You'll leave with

  • A clearer picture of the situation
  • Plain notes you can use, within 48 hours
  • A sharper understanding of your options
  • Concrete next steps, if they are already apparent
  • A recording, if you want one

Good reasons to book

  • You have a promising idea and need to know whether there's a real opportunity inside it.
  • Several directions seem plausible, and you need to understand what the choice depends on.
  • Your work has changed, but the story you're telling about it hasn't.
  • A project is moving, but nobody has stopped to question its premise.

What happens after Ground Truth?

At the end of the session, one of three things usually happens.

  1. The answer becomes clear.

You know what to do. Go do it.

  2. We need more evidence.

The next move may be a customer conversation, prototype, experiment, data point, or simply time.

  3. There is a real decision to make.

The options are now clear enough to evaluate, but the choice deserves deeper work.

That is what The Next Move is for.

Optional second stage

The Next Move

You understand the situation. Now make the call.

Ground Truth gets the problem into focus. The Next Move is a second working session for decisions that deserve more than instinct.

We put the real options on the table, test them against your objectives and constraints, and determine what should happen next. Sometimes the right call is to run a small test before committing. We'll be specific about that too.

Your decision memo includes

The recommendation.
What to do now.
The reasoning.
Why this path makes sense.
What it rules out.
What can wait or be discarded.
The first three steps.
What happens next.
What would change the call.
Evidence that should cause you to reconsider.

If the decision calls for a new story, campaign, product, or working prototype, I can help make it. We would scope that separately.

Why are these separate?

Sometimes clarity is enough.

Ground Truth may show that the answer is already obvious, that an idea is not worth pursuing, or that you need evidence before making a decision.

I do not think you should pay for another session simply because one exists.

When there is a consequential decision still worth working through, The Next Move is there.
